Christmas is indeed a complete con.

How many people actually go to church, or even celebrate the Jesus bit anymore. Just a few crazy christain types probably in their zimmer frames or multicoloured buses.

Its all a commercially based scheme to get us to spend money on crap and keep the economy turning over in our consumer driven society. Some of the retail numbers are frightening - something like half of the years sales in 4 weeks.

Spot on. Once the shops have had all your money they will have easter eggs in the shops by boxing day

Think about it For Christmas supermarkets make alot of extra shelf space for extra products so it needs filing so take the crimbo stuff off then shove Easter eggs on it.

no you can't, cadburys re-launch them every november until march then stop making them...very good business as they sell far more by having them on short term sale!
