Tamiya TEU-101BK and spectrum sr3000 possible?
Hi
I have been reading through some forums and have found people saying that there reciever has smoked because the tamiya esc and the receiver don't have a BEC's? I don't no if i really want to try it to be honest if thats whats gonna happen? Thanks for any help Brad p.s building this on christmas day, and will put up pics... |
Hi, there is absolutely no problem with the 101bk and sr 3100, i currently have 3 101's on 3100's and they are all fine and have been through extended use with 4 cell and 6 cell and even li=po , the 101 can be a bit glitchy if run on the aux port, use the batt/bind port for best results, just make sure you have it plugged into the Batt and the polarity is correct

sorry, i meant the sr300, which you can't plug the red wire into i don't think, apparently it has to go in the aux port on the receiver.
also will the 7.2 volts fry the servo? the sr300 doesn't have a BEC Brad |
hi ,just been reading , it does say on the 101 instructions that it should be used with BEC recievers, so i wouldnt risk it, especialy if others have run into problems with the stated combo.
