Ultimate racing or Associated diff oils are fine. Mugen and Kyosho do some the diff weights seems to be closer across brands rather than the shock oils. To get 12500 if you cannot buy a bottle then you have to mix the oils. There is a mixture calculator somewhere that I saw on the internet which I will try and find again.

For the high grip indoor I'd reserve diff oils from 7k up to 20k and go from there. I don't think it makes much of a difference between the brands atleast I've used great variety and differences are mainly the longevity of the oils. Some tend to get bad faster (LOSI) than others (6MIK)

I use Ultimate racing diff oil but people use all sorts. I dont think any one brand is better than the other but there are differences, so once you decide on a brand your best sticking to that brand.

Indoors on carpet/cork flooring/slippy surfaces i generally run 7,000 in the rear and 12,500 in the front. If you need more on power steering then thicken up the front. The higher the grip is on the surface your racing on the higher you can go up in oils. Its all about playing around and finding what works best for you.
