Mobile Phone help..

Here at work we have been givin a good deal on a new contract and for new handsets..we have money in the pot.. so its looking like money aint an object..well, with in reason

My boss wants a 6303, and we have been recommended the 3720 for our enginners....

Ive always been a big Nokia fan so would like to stick with this brand.. (Noia data suite etc i find brill )

So anyone got some good knowledge on current handsets??

At the mo i have an old 6233.. love the handset, does everything i want really.. but with mobile internet now available, that would be handy to have as well as maybe sending and receiving email..

Ive had a play on an iphone and like that and the apps you can get.. my only gripe with it, is the size?? I suppose thats the downside of wanting mobile internet etc??!

Ive had a quick look on Nokias site N97Mini or something simpler 6730?

Any gen/recommodations would be much appreciated

My work phone is a Nokia E71 which is very good plus is does have WIFI!!
my personal phone is a iphone which i think the best phone on the market!

but for emails, the E71 is good

defo get one with wifi if you can.. using the internet over your mobile phone network is still painfully slow..

E71, very good little phone, and excellent keyboard

njc11 18-12-2009 10:43 PM

Just checked it out.. looks smart..

Ive noticed though theres an E72 out or due out.. could it be worth going for that?

jim76 18-12-2009 11:05 PM

possibly, make sure you check out some decent reputable reviews first

The E71 is far better than the E72, in so far as it doesnt go wrong.
The new Blackberry Bold 2 is a brilliant phone and new on the market, got lots of new clever software. My Choice.
N97 Mini, ok but still suffers the same problems as the N97, needs continious software downloads to keep it running ok.

I wish id never got my N97 and still have 12 months on contract, hard to use, slow, even on wifi, and the apps are shit. Im getting an Iphone come upgrade time!

Dont bother with the iphone. The ones ive had are gash!
I took the 16G phone but the battery now doesnt last a full working day!I use Bluetooth and have 3G activated but so what?? Arent you supposed to be able to use your phone for the things that you need?

My phone has now stopped letting me use Wi-Fi anywhere and is slow. Anybody got any ideas??

mmm... again.. cheers folks for your replies

Im thinking now, with possible issues with these internet phones, just to get something similar to what i have.. (6233) its been really reliable and dead easy to use.. so maybe a 6730?

i think i need to go and view some handsets some how and have a play with them..

can anyone recommend and good site for phone reviews?

GSM arena are pretty detailed. or trusted reviews are quite good too. The E71 doesn;t have any problems, it's a great business phone
