problem with losi speedo
 

Hi guys have a problem with my losi speedo its brand new straight out of the box not used at all I cannot get it to programm to my handset get as far as the solid orange light and cannot get it to acecpt forward tried it in both ways round with handset but no joy . any ideas anybody ?

set your hand set to 100 on the throttle. if it continues, reverse the throttle and recalibrate the its range.

Think there is a issue with the update.. mine was fine till updated it then Nothing.. steering works but no forward/reverse nothing..

Time to move to an LRP Sphere TC / Tekin RS Pro ;)

When I was looking a few months back, this is why I went for the LRP Sphere TC before changing to a Tekin RS Pro. Should have kept the LRP as it was rock solid.

Sell it and get something else as Losi don't seem to be able to do the software side of things very well...

All i can say is ive got a couple of the Losi speedos, both earlier models and they work very, very well and have done for oohhh 8 or 9 months now - i just dont update the software.

If it works and does what you want it to do, leave it alone.... :lol:

Not much help for you lot i admit, but honestly when they work they are a damn fine speedo for the price. Here's hoping they will sort you all out with replacements :)

Do you use a Futaba FM 40?
Try an other brand of Radiosystem.
I have had this problem and the Esc connects to everything but my Futaba FM 40.Very strange.Updated with a Spektrum module and it connected.

cheers for all the info fellas its is straight out of the box been nowhere near the omputer so wont be the update issue

i have a tekin in my 12th and yes its great but I dont want to take it out every time i want to have a play on a club night with the buggy and cannot afford another speedo at the moment

handset is set at 100 and have tried it both ways on the servo reverse function no joy there

I am on 40meg futaba but do have 2.4ghz i will give that a try

i can get mine to calibrate with my transmitter but every once in a while it looses the settings with the throttle, i never alter anything so i dont understand why,its so anoying itl work for one race then for the next race no throttle,itl take around 5 trys to get it to work again.rubbish!:thumbdown:
