hi all
does anybody use one of these trinity dichargers ? i have the novak smart tray but it takes forever to equilise a battery so was looking at getting the trinity one how long rougly does it take to discharge a pack on the trinity one or any other recomendations on dischargers what people use

When you say the novak smart tray takes forever, you are only suppose to use it for the last bit to equalise the cells as its only 3A. Use a discharger at 10-20A to discharge to cells to 1v each then use the smart tray to equalise them to 0.9v each.

They are a good bit of kit but they still take a while to discharge the pack.When you come off after a race its not unusual to have at least 1500 mah left in the pack. The DPD discharges at 30a but it is not a constant discharge it pulses for a few min then off for a few min to allow the cells to cool. having said that i am happy with mine

DPD pulses 30amp. it averages out to be 5amp discharge rate, then and equilization at 1amp.
