No no Dave, quite the opposite in fact. I stoved it into the wall at the end of the straight with such force that some small children actually cried. I broke my wishbone, hub, hub holder thingy, tie rods, hinge pins and the actual shock top. That is a team Shambles record, surely!

I was mid-gluing the shock back together when someone took pity on me and after laughing at me glueing my thumb to the shock collar offered a spare. After that point it all seemed to go quite well.

Well that Losi you had used to fall apart before it got into an accident so thats probably why. Lloyd does crashing properly.

Hulk 08-12-2009 09:03 PM

Do you race Saturday nights or Sat day?

antnee 08-12-2009 09:16 PM

Daytime, Doors open at 9, racing starts at 11, usually finished for about 3.30-4

The Doctor 08-12-2009 10:09 PM

I think I'll do 4WD again with the trusty ZX5; it's all set up & ready to go with some shiny new minipins.

Especially if Lloyd's doing 2WD...

Only because you know the Losi stands no chance against the mighty x6 and it's jedi powers. :p

Mate, I only have 2 things to say to that;

1. "The mighty X6 and its Jedi powers" are still slower than my beautiful XXX-CR and my 2 thumbs.

2. I can see a poor homeless apostrophe up there ^. Please remove it so that it can go & join the others that are ready to go in the right f*****g place!

antnee 09-12-2009 11:24 PM

Word on the street is that Rich and Nigel are racing this round too! Lots of club drivers this time around :)

blitzboy 09-12-2009 11:28 PM

antnee 09-12-2009 11:31 PM

RobbieJ can we have a entries list? or numbers so far?

The Doctor 10-12-2009 12:44 PM

Do Rich and Nigel know it's off-road only? None of those pesky Minis are allowed on Saturday!

I think he means Rich 'the cow man' Bourgois. In which case there will be a mad bovine charging round the 4wd heats
