Nosram dominator evo esc help
I have the above speedo, but it doesnt like high power servoes. Is there any way to stop it twitching whit the servo? There is a blue wire coming from the esc, what is this for? I was thinking a wire from the battery straught to the power wire on the servo but will this work and need a resistor in to limit the voltage?

Have you tried running a capacitor in your receiver before trying anything else? It might solve the problem without you having to run "interesting" wiring :)
|
no you need a fet servo choke it goes in line on the blue wire and the positive from either the battery or the blue wire on the esc the reciver capsiter will not help this as the servo takes it positive from the battery and there for does not run through the capasiter.
i hope this helps |

Try the capacitor first as it will smooth out the power delivery to the servo and help the crappy BEC circuitry. (separating the positive wire off a servo and running it off another source is "interesting" :p) |

i wouldn't recomend it but it is nothing new and a cap will still not do any think. |
There are plenty of things we used to do in the 90's that are just not necessary now.
Dave, you haven't mentioned what servo you're using, but if it cost anything more than 10 quid I wouldn't set up the "interesting" wiring, as it will not last. |
