Advice on Orion Clubman Lipo Edition Charger
 

Hi,

I am after some advice on how to charge a IP lipo saddle pack using a Orion Clubman Lipo Edition charger, I have connected them but as there is no balancing connection on the lipo's the charger says "Check Battery Connection" the book says you have to connect the balancing leads to be able to charge but the lipo's dont have a socket for it??

any idea's

You need a connecting wire between the two saddles with a 2mm tube spliced in so that you can hook up the 2mm balancing plug from the charger.
The new Orion chargers won't charge at all if the ballancing plug isn't connected!

I just got one and it came with a note regarding an update. I assume you didn't get this? The update says the old version had to have balance leads. Now you get asked if you want to continue without balancing if you don't have the balancer attached.

I've had the charger for about a year....how do you get the update?? all tho it doesnt metter now as i have sorted it..

Mine came with it. I'm guessing you could send it back for an update, but who knows how long that would take!
