Think my hotmail has been hacked i can't sign in, any way to get back in to my account:confused:

I don't use hotmail, but isn't there a password reset facility / helpdesk?

How complex was your previous password? Upper, lower, numbers and punctuation?

Have you scanned your PC for viruses and key loggers?

My friend has has his hacked too... then they sent emails to people like his mum saying he. Is stranded on a island in South Africe and need something lik 20,000 to get him returned or something. What made me laugh is his mum didnt care.. then told him 2 days later haha.. so you, there are a fair few accounts being hacked.. hopefully not me:(

The forgotten password link will only be of use if you have a secondary email address setup and linked with the hotmail address, otherwise you cant log into you email to get the reset password as its been hijacked.

hopefully you have setup this secondary address if not i will have a search for a link in one of my old emails that takes you to the place to sort it.

this is why I live with my mum so things like that wouldn't happen :p

Doubt my mum would have to worry bout that, she wouldn't want to pay LOL

ran loads of checks and there was a key registry trojan on but its gone now.
changed all my passwords and paypal addy so should keep the scum away :D
