Tom Cockerill leaves XFactory
 

Tom Cockerill has decided to move on from Xfactory - after 2 years with the team Tom will be joining a new team soon but would like to thank his previous sponsors with which he's enjoyed a great year and gained his first National victory at the final round of the 2WD Championship.

X Factory president Chazz Sinclair today announced that Tom Cockerill has decided not to renew his agreement with X Factory for the 2010 season. “We sent Tom an exceptional agreement for next year, but he told us today he wants a change for next year.

“Tom has been with X Factory for two full years now. In 2007 he was an Under 19 driver with much promise when we signed him, and he promptly improved to 11^th in the ’08 standings with three A Final appearances driving the X – 6. That year Tom also made the A at the Euros. Tom again finished 11^th in ’09, including TQ and win at the last round in Blyth with his X – 6 Squared.

“Our association with Cockerill has been excellent and we are sorry Tom has opted to leave. We wish him the best.”

I'd like to extend my thanks to Chazz, X-Factory & Darren/DMS for the excellent support they have given me over the last two seasons. They have been great to work with.

My results have steadily improved over the last two seasons, finishing with a win at the last national of the season. However, I felt that the time had come for a new challenge so I am moving onto a new team.....

Some great results with XFactory but best of luck for next season Thomas :thumbsup:
