gearing help needed ..fdr .. tf-5
 
hi im after some gearing help .. for the track im gonna run on i need a fdr of 5.5 -6.0 .. .. it has a 68 spur and 36 pinion and im running a nosram 13.5t motor , ive looked on gearchart.com . but i cant seem to load the screen up ... please help ..:)

originaly it had a 20t brushed motor ....but ive been told i need help , but not medical help this time :woot: ..... just gearing ..

To run that FDR you need a 30 rather than a 36, that'll give you 5.66 FDR.

Whether you'll be able to get a proper mesh on this gearing is anyone's guess... It might be a case of needing a bigger spur, don't really know.

5.5 - 6.0 in 13.5 seems very high to me for a 13.5, is the place really small or something?

cheers:thumbsup: its only a medium school hall on carpet , but i was told last time ( when i breifly ran a schumacher mi3.5 ) that a fdr of 5.5 to 6.0 was needed ...:woot:
