for Neo09 Phil scheduled in a couple of heats to show an interest in a newly emerging class. but the slow takeup & the lack of any standardised rules/specs one year on still leaves electric 8th as a kind of novelty class!
such a big meeting with such a demand for entries doesn't really need another class to make up the numbers.
think of it another way..................its another 20 people racing in the main event

It was totally new i thought for this country..?? Things like speedo and brushless conversions weren't readily available for the main stream cars made by the manufacturers of that said chassis.. Now though they all seem to be doing them.. Surely it has gained popularity? It would be a shame not to incude them in Neo 2010.
Look at the Inferno VE RTR.. absolute bargain at £350... a good beginners car without going into all the expense.. especially if you already have a couple of Lipos from 1/10th Off Road!!
How many people have Electric 8th's who would consider taking part? I for one would enter.. then if i enjoy it i could use the car i bought to go Nitro if i wanted to! :woot:
