Front one way for BMax
 

Does anybody know if there is a front one way available for the BMax ?

If so, what's the part number and where can I buy one ? :)

No, at this time there is no front one-way option for the B-Max. I don't THINK that Yokomo are planning one anytime soon.

Just a though, but would a D4/B44 one way fit (with modifications) ?

podssible bearing size and outdrive size could be a problem.

i've just realised, HB61530 is the D4 one way unit.

Are the D4 driveshafts required as the Bmax ones don't fit into the out drives on D4 one way ?

You are correct it was done with D4 parts, as far as i know you have to swap front driveshafts, hopefully Andy will reveal all his secrets of how to do it to all. Have seen it run at many meetings and seems to be durable.

you maybe able to use xray t1 one way outdrives they used to be larger than the hotbodies ones.

you have to use the d4 drive shafts because the bmax ones are too large, however the hub end is an almost exact match you just have to use a thinner shim behind drive pin.
the xray out drives are the same size as the d4 as i have those as well.
if you use the ones from the multi diff you can also have a fixed oneway and spool :woot:
the bearing size is an issue as a 10 x 19 is not available. i got round this by using the plastic bearing carriers off an xray tc, these are just about the right size, although you have to trim the width down.
the last thing is that the diff gear is only 39t instead of the bmax 40t so the front ends up slightly over driven dont think this is an issue.
if anybody wants to i'll be at broxtowe on the 6th and worksop on the 20th. just look for the most tastefully painted bmax:lol:

Thanks for sharing guys! It's all very interesting. I don't get that on the Yokomo B-max setup sheet there is a box for "on-way diff", but they don't make one. Hopefully, one day they will release one; I quite enjoy using it as a tuning aid on some of the tracks I race on.

Can,t wait to get my factory team, even though it probably won't see a track untill spring...:thumbdown:

Yeah, it seems strange that the set up sheet has a 'one-way' option, but Yokomo don't do one :cry:

The sheet is the same as the MR4 BX, thats why the one way option is on there.

Doh!!! :lol: That certainly explains it! Do any of you guys think one of the one-ways from their touring cars could be fitted? For the moment, I don't really need one. But I'd definetly look into it eventually...

I spoke to CML the other day who seemed to think that the one way from the Yokomo SD might fit, however the bearing size is not the same as the BMAX
