what pinion?
 

What pinion would people recommend using with a 7.5 brushless motor and a standard spur (76 or 78 i think) in a lazer zx-5?

what sort of track is it on, and how big is the track?

essentially its going to be indoor in a sports hall with a little carpet.

id use a 22/23 should be fine

Hi sorry to butt in but i have the same question, but will be running a nosram 5.5 motor out doors grass.:thumbsup:

5.5 outdoors = 20t

6.5 outdoors = 23t
6.5 indoors = 21t

7.5 outdoors = 25t
7.5 indoors = 23t

8.5 outdoors = 27t / 28t
8.5 indoors = 25t

Those are my starting gearings and then I go up or down a tooth depending on motor temps and feel on the track.
