An eccentric team of British engineers attempts to break the longest standing land speed record in the world in a car built in a shed in Hampshire which runs entirely on steam. Glad they did it, eventually and then did it again...

missed the programme, but have a friend who was involved with that project and some others by the same team of people, apparently the car did a faster run but failed to back it up after damaging a boiler tube, something they apparently had a lot of problems with
