Narrow chassis and shells
What benefit do they provide over the normal width chassis.
I only ask because the durango's seem to have a really narrow chassis, and some people has been making their own narrow chassis. |
Don't know exactly what it's like in 4wd but durango converted 2wd's went better with a wider shell on them than with the ultra-narrow shells.
With the wider shell they jumped better and were better in faster passages due to the aerodynamics on the rear of the car. |
Less drag and for what it`s worth, less weight.

less to ground out on bumps!

Yeah, I was under the impression that narrower = more roll before it triangulates and makes contact with the ground, so you can run softer to cope with bumps.
But I'm no buggy driver. |
