xbox 360 elite e74 problem
 

anyone know how to fix the e74 error on an elite 360

No kidding; a good ol' tap and a restart fixed that on my friend's.

Although, the same magic trick didn't solve the ghastly "Ring of death".

If you've had it under 3 years, send it back to MS to fix, it's a problem that replaces the red ring of death I think and is part of the extended warranty.

I've just got mine back a couple of weeks ago after sending it off for repair, and mines 2 year old.

Had this before my elite red ringed, sent it off to MS for about 2-3 weeks, got sent back with a new motherboard and an even further warrenty. Do the right thing and send it off!

I got mine back in just under a week, although I didn't actually get 'mine' back if you know what I mean. They sent me a new one so I didn't have to wait. When I say new, probably re-conditioned.

If the xbox cannot be sent back look on you tube and fix it your self, heat gun trick,
