Cat SX Rear Diff - rebuild

How often do people rebuild it? I am about to do mine this week after a wet run at the weekend and it's feeling nice a notchy :(

I have found that after running in the wet and dirt I was rebuilding the diffs very frequently due to the openings into the diff cases where the belts enter. I did find it strange that I could not turn the diff washers over as there seemed to be a cone shaped hole in the centres so they would only go on one way. I am sure that a light dremel would make them fit on the other way round.

That's my fear about the Cat SX diff not that well sealed for winter running. Oh well by the time spring comes I'll be a diff rebuild expert...

When are you next at Titchfield ;)

I don't rebuild diff's....I get Mike Williams or Simon Moss to do em:D:D:D

I am at Clanfield this weekend for my nitro fix and hopefully will be able to find time in my busy schedule to get up to Titchfield. Beats having to go to PDA or Watford for my fix  which I have been doing so far!

Fantastic!! Provide me the details of people etc. I.e. names, class, frequency, PTs and I'll have it all ready!

Cool.

When I am a better driver I'd like to do something like that. I was going to do Petit this year, but have decided to give it a miss.
