Try a couple of Hyperion 3300mAh 4S LiPos in parallel (for a 6600mAh 4S pack), the 25C packs would easily be enough with that kind of capacity. $85.95 each. Of course not. I've never used hard-cased LiPos in 1/8 scale. Provided they are secure, and not allowed to slide around (which should also be observed for hard cased LiPos - it is only a thin sheet of lexan surrounding the cell anyway), they will be fine.
