SP LPF v1.1 recommended motor limit without fan
 

I'm thinking about installing my speed passion lpf esc in a b4 without the fan installed. What turn brushless will I get away with? I'm only asking because I'm planning something fairly mild e.g. 9.5T.
Has anyone tried 8.5T or lower and gotten away with it?

they will comfortably run a 6.5, and are supposed to handle a 5.5, but in 2wd a good modern 7.5 is more than enough for anyone,

Without a fan I only run mine with a 7.5 and even then it gets fairly hot and feels mushy towards the end of the run. With a fan you can run 5.5 in 2wd without much trouble.
