carbon fibre
 
hi all, i need to get hold of some carbon fibre as ive just made my losi XXX into a mid motor covertion!! the only thing i need is some carbon fibre!!

preferably 2mm and over. enough to do 2 3cell battery straps and a mini topdeck.

a guy on ebay sells sheets about 20x30 cm. If not maybe Jonathan from Atomic can help you out.

You could try Fibre lyte in Stokesley, as well as producing parts on request, he can also supply sheets if required!!

remember to wear a mask when cutting this stuff.. carbon fibre is seriously dangerous to your health when you cut, grind or even sand it! the dust it produces is very harmful to the body.

if you send a sketch or even better a CAd drawing to fibre lyte they will make it for you and at a good price

Have to agree with Paul, Your couldn't just use BJ4 ones??

Or as Mark suggests get Fibre lyte to cut them for you!!

There are many places that sell carbon fibre sheet (fibrecomp, carbonology, etc) but the best prices are at Fibre Lyte. I used to use sheet from carbon-tech on ebay, he used to be the cheapest around but I think even he is more expensive than Fibre Lyte these days.
