Novak GTB Braking Problem

I've got a Novak GTB running a 10.5 motor and the brakes are totally pathetic, I am running on profile 1. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be, the power cap maybe?

Many thanks in advance.:)

Sintered rotor? Is it old, has it got hot often? Is it a Novak 10.5?

Yeah it's a Novak SS 4300 10.5, not a sintered rotor, I bought it used so not sure how old it is and it never gets overly hot.

and more basic, have you got it set up to your transmitter correctly? And haven't turned down your end points etc?

Yeah the tx is set up correctly with the right end points.

Non sintered rotors have crap brakes I'm afraid and are easily effected by getting hot, I'm not sure of the specs on that motor but if it's one you can upgrade to a sintered rotor then that will make it like new again (well actually better than new if it has bonded right now).

Bought a sintered rotor for it and it now has brakes, the old rotor was knackered. Thanks for the help guys.
