Electronics problem

I have installed a brand new Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro, Savöx SC-1251MG servo and Spektrum SR3500 micro receiver in my offroad car. ESC works perfect, but the servo doesn't get any power.
I tried another servo and again it didn't do anything. Then I tried an SR3001 standard Spektrum Pro receiver after which nothing worked, the ESC gets the current, but the servo again doesn't.

Could this be a radio problem? It is a Futaba 3VCS with Spektrum Pro.

Cheers,
Jorg.

List of things to check:

1. Are the wires on the servo in the same order as on the speedo?
2. Have you tried re-binding your receiver and transmitter?
3. The servo is in the correct plug in the receiver?
4. Have you tried using the speedo setup box to check the speedo program works?
5. Have you tried a different servo?
6. Do you have the capacitor hooked up to the speedo properly?
7. Have you tried a capacitor in the receiver?
8. Is your personal transponder too close to your receiver?

If you need a different servo to try I can lend you one in Langenfeld this weekend. Either low-profile or normal.

is the servo not getting any power or is it just not moving when you move the stick?

power the car up and try and move the servo horn. that will answer that question.

Thanks, big help! I tried nr. 1-2-3-4-5-6, have to try 7&8 then. The ESC works, it is just the servo that doesn't get any current to answer to the comments of Big G and steelie600. Model memory is correct and ESC is good.

Really digging for mistakes now...

Have you tried taking your spektrum module out of your transmitter and cleaning the pins on the transmitter?

Remembering a friends mistake with his 3vcs have you maybe got one of the channels set to one of the toggle switches on the transmitter that is maybe in the wrong position? A friend who shall remain nameless had something set to one of the switches at the top of the transmitter and come the start of the final got a really great start full speed into the wall :woot:

If you want to try the capacitor in the receiver let me know at the race.
