Winning set up for Bury indoors
 
Here is my final set up for Bury indoors yesterday:

Qualified: 2nd, Finished: 1st

Front

Shocks: 35wt oil, 2 hole piston drilled to 1.3mm, middle hole on shock tower, outer hole on wishbone.

Camber link position: inner hole on shock tower on very bottom hole, outer on hub carrier.

Diff oil: 12,500

Steering ackerman: back position

Rear

Shocks: 30wt oil, 3 hole piston drilled to 1.4mm, outer hole on shock tower, outer hole on wishbone.

Camber link position: inner hole on shock tower on very bottom hole, middle hole on hub carrier.

Diff oil: 7,000

Anit squat: 3 degree, high roll centre.

Wheel base: Long

3 degree toe in on rear

30g brass weight on rear, none on sides.

Anti roll bar: none on either front or back.

Everything else was as Kit settings.

Tyres: Schumacher yellow minipins all round.

Motor 5.5

Gearing: Kit spur, 22 pinion.

Ill get this put on the Team Durango web site as soon as i can.

Got the set up bang on in the final round, was only a second off your time!

Would have been a good race in the final. How come you went home?

Got a 110 mile drive home and didnt feel like staying another 2hrs for the final lol. I went with a new set of tyres in the last round, really struggled for grip. The set i was running were knackered after round 3, was on 313 pace till i got caught up in traffic in that round. Seemed the tyres were best just before they died lol. Didnt know you had got through for the extra lap or i might of stayed! Will try and get up for the next one, best track they have had i think!

How are you guys adding more toe to the rear?

Hi mate,

if you use the standard hub carriers this gives you 3 degree toe in.

If you use the ones that are marked L and R, but put the Left on the right and right on the left from the drivers point of view, this will gove you 4 degree toe in.

I used the stock nats on TD'd site. I have my front pistons (2 hole) drilled to 1.3 with 35wt, rear (3 hole) drilled to 1.4 with 30wt. I used 30k front and 10k rear. The track is pretty rough with some big jumps.

The setup worked very good for me

Light green springs on the rear and dark blue on the front.

Hi mate,

Its basically the amount of rebound you get when pushing the piston all the way up to the shock body then letting go. Do this without the spring on of course. When letting go the piston will push itself back down, i have mine set so it pushes about 25% of the overall length of the shock shaft.

You adjust this by how much you bleed your shocks. The less air/oil you let out the more rebound you will get, and visa versa.
