corsa parts...

Please can someone reccomend where to get used body panels for a corsa C. 06 model if that helps.
I need a front bumper, bonnet, offside wing and a pair of headlights. I found all of the above on ebay new and complete for £280, but they need painting!
Obviously i dont want to be travelling down to devon to pick the parts up so as close to york as possible

Your only option is scrap yards.
You've got simpson salvage at Full Sutton, and there is a good one on the A64 near leeds.
You'll be lucky to get them in the right colour, though!

How long have you had your license???

Sounds like a bit of late braking into the apex ;)

It's re-opened under " u-pull-it " which is owned by the people who bought out simpsons (Copart) They are proper rip off merchants!!!
I bought my car earlier in the week and ended up paying £160 in charges. They only made £20 on the car apparentley

Dude, you should have let me know. There is no money to be made in selling damaged cars these day - I used to do it for living, so I know!

I now have a mate who works at one of the larger motor auctions where often you can get a straight one for less than a bent one these days!

GRIFF55 30-10-2009 03:31 PM

Agreed col, i used to do it too. Cars i used to get were off dhales. They had some crackers, but with what auction cars are going for these days its not worth doing as much any more:(.
partsgateway saved my life (on bits) more than once!
