All new DMS Partz "Stealth" spur gears now available

2 Attachment(s)
The latest new release from the DMS Partz range is a selection of precision machine cut spur gears for the X6 Squared buggy or X60 stadium truck (will also fit the Associated B4 or T4 models too) which were first announced last month.

The new range of 2wd spurs – called “Stealth” - come in a huge range of sizes from 70 tooth right through to 80 tooth inclusive. These are aimed at the X-Factory cars in particular and will offer a better selection of suitable ratios for both stock and modified racing whilst having no fitment or clearance issues as currently found with the stock AE ones in some situations.

Each gear is engraved/marked clearly with the number of teeth for easy identification. The pads have a far better and secure fit than originals and are held in place far better, resulting in a more consistent feel and adjustment of your slipper clutch. They run truer, smoother and quieter than originals too. Expect to see them in use by the entire X-Factory UK team this coming season.

The full range is NOW IN STOCK and ready for immediate despatch.

Part numbers and prices are as follows;

DMS150 – 70 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS151 – 71 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS152 – 72 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS153 – 73 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS154 – 74 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS155 – 75 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS156 – 76 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS157 – 77 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS158 – 78 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS159 – 79 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)
DMS160 – 80 tooth “Stealth” Precision Machined Spur gear (X6, X60, B4, T4)

RRP £5.99
Available now through all good stockists

The next new item from the DMS Partz range is a selection of precision machine cut spur gears for the X5 Squared buggy that again we first broke news of last month.

The new range of PRO 4wd spurs come in three different sizes – 106, 108 and 110. They have been precision machined from delrin for strength. Each gear is coloured white for easy meshing in the dark covered transmission of the X5, each gear is clearly stamped with its tooth size.

Each gear also now uses twin AE slipper pads since we feel that these can handle the torque of today’s latest brushless powered motors far better than the stock “puck” arrangement found in the kit. These gears have been machined to use the kit standard “Losi” type slipper plates (although removing some material off one plate is required for easy installation). They run truer, smoother and quieter too than kit originals and are cheaper as well.

Part numbers are as follows;

DMS161 – PRO 106 tooth, Precision Machined Spur gear (X5 Squared)
DMS162 – PRO 108 tooth, Precision Machined Spur gear (X5 Squared)
DMS163 – PRO 110 tooth, Precision Machined Spur gear (X5 Squared)

UK RRP price is £8.99 - Available now from all X-Factory UK stockists.

Similiar to the ones you had made, but not quite the same mate.... We had these on the drawing board a month or so before EPR this year. The main differance is they are much narrower and also they feature a machined ring so you dont have to use the AE plates as we did with the ones you went and had made up.

Guess they will also fit Kyosho cars too with the addition of AE slipper pads

Have not tried them, but can see no reason (other than if the internal diameter is different) why not

Due onto the website this coming week. Press releases go out first then the products go online to see and to purchase. They can be ordered if you just add your requiremnt to the "special requests" box in checkout.
