Model shops aroun Worcester or Cheltenham.
 

Are there any model shops around Worcester or Cheltenham. I know there is Wheelspin Models the other side of Birmingham, in Cannock.

No model shops worth visisting in Cheltenham / Gloucestershire and as far as I can remember Worcester either.

Of course there was the excelent DC Racing in Evesham but people insisting on buying from abroad leaving insufficent business to make it truely viable ..... something I think is responsible for the majority of the helpful race specific shops going that we have lost recently :(

So is DCracing still around??

Depends what you are after really. If you are after kits etc then buy from Microtech.

If you are after advice stay here.

I know, i always buy from microtech and im always on here.

But i have a day off and its nice to go to shop and talk to some one face 2 face.

I'm with Cosie on MicroTech Racing .... they are in Swindon, not hard to find from where you are and the regulars in the shop are both friendly and knowledgable. If I need something immediately I usually hop in the car and go there (ring first as there seems to be a bit of a supply issue with some of the distributors recently ... )

I've also had good service from DMS (used to live in Watford and used the shop then and several times since) and M K Racing, but those are a bit further from you.

And no, unfortunately DC Racing are no longer around :'(

There's CDS models just up the road from Morrisons in Bromsgrove, they stock some rc stuff but there 5 minutes away from CML if you need anything specific phone them

sb models are in kidderminster and are very good mate.the owner simon best is a good friend off mine and he always keeps good stock off popular brands.

give him a try,go to the shop or do it mail order via his ebay store,his prices are competetive.
