Mass Production Machine Shops?

Morning Folks.

I though i would ask here as there are plently of people who deal with this sort of thing.

Basically im after a company or lots of companies that have the capability of mass producing a small ish fastener that im developing for the areospace industry. The sizes range from 1/4" right up to 1.5"", with a varying lengh up to about 5". Ideally located in the UK, but if its outside then thats not a problem.

Cheers

Danny

They wont do there one's Phil. They are a specific bolt that ive designed they have had to meet all kinds of spec, i wish there were an "off the shelf" one, mind you i wouldnt get any profit share if there were :) and if im selling 50,000+ i want as much as possible :)

If you work for bae be carefull. I used to work there 20 years ago if I remember rightly there may be something in your contract that states
anything you invent that has anything to do with the aircraft industry belongs to them. You would not get any money if they took that up. It may have changed by now but worth checking.

Look for an "intellectual property" clause in your contract.........

Ok

T&K engineering Northampton do rolled threading for bolts ect would say more for 1000 down prototype ect.

ARP in USA is another

are the bolts going to be Ti? company that used to do the bolts for Helger think they were from Bristol area.

Umbrako in Irland the Qnty you are looking at and the spec you will need.

the hard bit will be the 100% ins and batching with lot numbers all above will be able to do this.
good luck.
