Been told they are rubbish? An alloy one would be, thats why we dont have one and never made one!

Watch this space though for some upgraded ones which are better than alloy.....

stampede vxlboy 22-10-2009 08:20 PM

alloys bit for the madrat cant wait

x pro

iv'e just got an x pro and it's FAB!!

can't imagine why you would want a steel t piece though??
i found i needed more wieght in the front 1/4 of the car so i got the carbon fibre t piece and the new brass bulkhead (which i must say is an amazing idea with the weight you can put in and out from track to track)

also i put 20grams in both front pods to generate more side bite/roll through a corner.

stampede vxlboy 22-10-2009 09:49 PM

they just snap for fun i had a carbon 1 that snaped and the steel 1 are ace and get rear pin holders under the tplat they all snap the plastic not that strong
and get a brass battery tray £19,99
rear pin holder £17.48alloy under the tplate

rc_dan 22-10-2009 09:52 PM

don't get a brass battery tray if you have a madrat, as it won't fit with a 23mm deep lipo. you cannot get the battery strap on. Not sure if the X pro has adjustable height battery posts or not, in which case it would be ok, but for the madrat it is no good unless you have VERY thin lipos.

rc_dan 22-10-2009 10:16 PM

i seen a smart brass plate for on top of the servo made by trish bits i think

40grams if i remember right £7.99 any one got one of these ? 40 grams make much affect guys ?

jim76 22-10-2009 10:22 PM

i would just buy a pack of adhesive lead weights, you can get 200g for the same money

rc_dan 22-10-2009 10:24 PM

The steel t is a must if you drive it hard. Its only 45g in total.
