Club requires drums of rope for track marking
 

Hi,

I have noticed that a lot of indoor clubs use drums of heavy duty rope to layout their tracks in sports halls. I am looking for heavy rope at least 50mm in diameter for our buggy club. the hall is about 25m long by 12m wide.

Does anyone know of any clubs wishing to off load some of their rope of a dealer who has good prices on rope ?

try a dock yard or ship builder, the rope gets changed farely often old rope is usually scrapped,old fire hose is another good one to get for free,

We got ours from the tug boat company in Leith Port, just phone the port office and ask to be put through to the tug basin, usually costs very little as they pay to get rid of it.
