What wait is 500CST Shock oil?????
 
Hi people

Am looking at the Much More Shock oil in 500CST as a team driver recommend them, What WT is 500CST???? :confused:

Why do they rate some shock Oil in CST and others like Losi in WT?

Even better has anyoune got a Chart converting them from Cst to WT?

I trust this chart better as it uses measures made on a proper machine and you've got most oils makes listed too.

The problems comes from "Wt" not being a standardised measurment of anything. It is a arbitary no of each company so if mixing brands its not consistent.

CST or CPS is the std way to measure the viscosity of a liquid and is the most consistent as there are standards which they are measured against and tested on rheometers.
