New 4mm front suspension bits

Just noticed Schumacher have these listed on the site

U3556 Pivot Block M4; Front 10.5 degree - Cat SX pr

How come 10.5deg?? physical construction or is there an advantage to be had with the extra kickup??

bigred5765 13-10-2009 12:31 PM

not sure why it state 10.5 as the originals are 10 but this is of the web site so may be a mistake
Part is same as U3302 as used on production cars but is now fitted with M4 Screw for extra strength. Transmission Housing will need to be tapped M4 to use this part or buy U3557 and U3558 Front Trans Housings with M4 hole

but i doubt if thats right 0.5 degree kickup will be noticable

Yeah looked odd to me as well Carl.
I'd of thought if anything, assuming you wanted the same amount of material round the hole, the kickup would likely be less!?!

I doubt i'd make the change anyway to be honest. Brace I got of Stegger is doin a good job strength wise

With regards to spacers when using 4mm screws - Does anybody know where to get some and part number etc?

So does anybody have any idea as to weather any of the other blocks are available in M4 sizes?

bigred5765 27-10-2009 11:10 AM

the very front ones should be the only ones you would ever need,as they should be the only ones to bend,if your bend them further back on the car then you must be hitting them so hard it will most probably bend 4MM as well,
