Newbie question - First Buggy/ST

Hi, first post

Sorry for the newbie question I did search the forum but I found little information.

Apart from a brief stint with a Grasshopper I was given for my 12th birthday I'm completely new to all things off road. I have been Drifting since 2004 so I am competent with the electronics and chassis set-up side of things. I'm not looking to compete at a serious level due to other commitments only looking to go a track once maybe twice a month and have a bit of fun. To be honest the Buggy/ST will get more use bashing in my local woods so it need to be strong. Looking to spend under £200 on the kit the cheaper the better:D.

I not really sure what would be best for me out of 2WD,4WD or a ST so any help and recommendations would be most appreciated.

Thanks for looking.
PS Anyone know of a track near Tamworth(just north of Birmingham)

Traxxas slash without doubt

they are mega strong - very cheap on parts if broken which is unlikely

look cool

Can be made as fast as you like

Agree with Shanks ^^ the 1/10 2WD one though[i`m sure he ment that],not the Mini Slash[out of your budget] and a cheap brushless system,i would go straight for Lipo batterys,i reckon you could just about do it for a £200 budget for very good/mint second hand set up,if you are patient enough.
