CVD's for rear of Kyosho
Hi too all,
Has anyone got any of these cvd's?? or know where to get these them? If so could you please post link or shop please or PM it me, Also does anyone know if Kyosho have actally made any cvd's for rear? cause i think i have only heard people using copys of them i dunno anyway lol. Many Thanks Nick. |
Nick, there are in fact cvds for the rear. They are shorter than the front. The front are 68mm while the rear are 65.5mm. Unfortunately, they are expensive! the cheapest I've found them is 37$US at www.speedtechrc.com. They are 42$US at www.evolutionhobbies.com or at www.kenonrc.com. I don't know if these shops ship overseas though. I've seen a few people running them and originally I thought they wouldn't be necessary, but lately I've noticed a lot of wear on my dog bones in the rear. They seem to wear away quickly and the worse off they get, the more they bind the suspension. It is really starting to get noticable while driving. I'll probably eat the cost here soon and get some, but I've got a spare set of axles and dog bones that I can use first before getting the cvds. A new set of axles and dog bones is 11$.

HI thanks for that it all makes sense now i wasnt to sure if the 65.5 ones were dog bones again lol  Thanks anyway Nick.

K.LA232 we paid (my dad paid, know how it works  ) £30, would think most of the shops have them if they stock other parts, suggestion was that if/when we break the rear, the dogbones can anywhere on the track, the cvd stay in the hub - yet to test this one.

nah most nat drivers run UJ's in the rear maybe but not dogbones... however they tend to call their uj's dogbones for some reason.
there are no UJ's available for the kyosho, its dogbones or cvd style. |
then jimmy... i must say the nat drivers are.. mad!

they are ! since whe has a "Universal Joint" been a dogbone...
