b44 rear hubs on a b4

I know that ppl have done this with the car, and im entertainin the idea myself. can someone please tell me if there is an issue with the width of the car and if they have kept with the b4 rear drive shafts or if you have to change to the b44 rear shafts?

There the same as the origional hubs but just use larger outer bearings, no issues with width or cvd's or any of that malarky

Whats the gain/loss with using the B44 hubs? is there a specific need for using them?

No specific need just the outer bearing is bigger and less prone to failure. That and it looks boss ;)
