Modifying Tekin 3400 Powercell LIPO
 

Can anyone see any problems with removing the cell lumps from the bottom of tekin's lipo as it won't fit in my car with them

they don't contain any 'cell material' but you will render them illegal in a sanctioned event and weaken the case.

dremmel the chassis instead, much easier and safer, also the lipo wont move around then

Chopping the chassis isn't an option it's a jrxs, and with the pack sat in the lipo tray it's too high and fouls the rear bulkhead.

i've sanded down the lumps by about 3mm to the point i can tell i'm going to break though soon, i'd say it's safe to take off 1.5 - 2mm max without really effecting the strength. it all fits fine now, better to be illegal at sanctioned meetings than sat in a box unused!
