I'm going too. Not race on grass with a buggy since 1995 with a tamiya manta ray!.....should be interesting!

never race 2wd on grass.:o

What tyres are we looking at?

tc2k 11-04-2007 10:54 PM

Schumi yellow minispikes

Northy 12-04-2007 07:40 AM

If its dry. Ballistic green spikes if it's wet.

If you get stuck Tel, just come and ask us.

Facilities available:

Bar, toilets, hot and cold food, vending machines.

For directions see our website at www.nercr.net., or just look out for the Nissan Factory on the A19 North of Sunderland.

What's the track like? I don't know yet, we are building it on Saturday, but expect it to be the same as most years, being flat grass, a long straight and wooden ramps, and hopefully a table top.

Tent can be pitched and cars parked on the grass next to the track.

Hope to see you all there on the 22nd April.

If you can book in before hand at the usual place, http://brca-northeast.net it'll help us out, thanks.

Northy 12-04-2007 11:49 AM

You booked some good weather Chris?

chrispattinson 12-04-2007 11:50 AM

I'll see what I can do.

tc2k 12-04-2007 05:24 PM

Appears there may be rain on the saturday
Its been sunny up here for about 10days on the trot now, not a drop of rain. Im still optimistic though

telboy 12-04-2007 07:19 PM

shhhhhhhh, don't speak too soon.

Ok G, if I get stuck I'll come and see you.
How come the yellows don't work in the wet but the greens do?

mattym0310 12-04-2007 07:27 PM

greens are harder compund

Northy 12-04-2007 07:35 PM

A brand new set of yellows can sometimes work in the wet, but they need the square edges. However the yellow compound seems to generate little grip when its wet.

Tel, just come over :)
