X5 Setup

Can anybody give me some pointers for a good Southport "neutral" setup (in terms of steering) for an X5 around please? I bought one for my son, and I ran if for a few laps in practice on Sunday then put it away....it was awful!

Don't worry about the setup that is on it, it's clearly awful so I have no issues completely changing it.

I cant begin to tell you where it went wrong there were so many problems.

It didn't jump, it didn't do bumps and it didn't steer.....
it did sit on the parcel shelf of my car exceptionally well though!

Lots of X - 5 set-ups on our website, Burgie. And Ellis won a National with his this year. I expect we can get this solved...

The most recent setup sheet for an X5 at Southport on your site is from 2007....I was hoping for something a little more recent!

TBH Burgie, the team do not change the cars much from track to track now.

The outdoor setup from Ellis on this thread will be a good starting point for you

Its at the very bottom of the page, post no 240

Thanks Darren, will give that one a go...

I assume that setup refers to a car with a lipo down one side, as this modification is not specified on the sheet

I have Ellis's setup from Southport National this year, so it will be close enough for us!

Any chance you could post it somewhere? (with Ellis's permission)
