How many amps to run CTX tyre warmers?

The manual says 7.4v-15v but doesn't state how many amps are required. I've already tried a 12v 1.2A adapter which powers it up but isn't strong enough to power the warmers.

Any ideas?

measure the resistance with a multimeter and divide the voltage by the measured resistance, that should give you the current (amps) they run at
