Find you local sign writers, and ask them for some vinyl. Available in many colours too. Even Carbon!! :)

Has there been update on this? i tried making one from lexan covering but does not last longs...... updates would be apreciated.

BagofSkill 17-12-2010 09:02 AM

I've made a mold for a tray, ordered in the lexan, made the first tray but then sold the car. If people are interested I'll see if I can fire the machine back up at Christmas......

Why do you want an undertray, the chassis is alloy and doesn't need one unlike carbon chassis cars.

Do 1/8th cars use them? No
Did the origonal Cougar have one? No
Did the RC10 have one? No

The list goes on and the reason why they didn't? They didn't need one.

The only type of person that wants one is a very anal person, so what if it gets scratched. If the chassis gets scratched it doesn't alter the rigidity or strength.

If you really want to protect the chassis get the Associated stick on stuff.

Fibreglass tape also works well. :)

I can understand people wanting one for the tresey carbon one but dont know why for the standard aluminum one. The standard one is half the price of the b44 standard chassis (in america anyway)

Well I wanted an undertray so I could airbrush it like the top shell for that ultimate bling that all the Schu and AE runners can get!
