Work Party & Mini Open Day - Saturday 26 September 2009
 

A Work Party AND an Open Day!

A few of us will be trackside from approx. 10:00AM Saturday morning, for a few hours (probably 'til mid-afternoon), prepping the track for the following weekends first round of the 2009/10 Winter Warmer series and also to give a few people, who have made recent enquiries, to come along, have a chat, see what it's all about and maybe have a few laps!

As per usual, everybodies welcome, young or old, newbie or pro, if there's any advice you want or help needed you only have to ask!

Will also have a quantity of members equipment that has been put up for sale should anybody be interested, cars; radio equipment, motors, chargers, dischargers, batteries, wheels, tyres and spares, lots available, come and have a lookhttp://1.2.3.10/bmi/www.oople.com/fo...ilies/w00t.gif

Not doubt the urn will also get fired up from time to time for hot drinks, hopefully we'll more likely need cold ones after all that work;)!

Just like to thank all those members and non-members alike who turned up today to start the preparations for the Winter Warmer series 2009/10:thumbsup: Including the installation of our new timing equipment and loop:woot::woot:

Big in-roads were made into the conditioning of both the track and it's surrounds, and I'm sure we'll be able to complete the detailing next Saturday well before Round 1 on Sunday 04 October.

Watch this space for more announcements but pencil in your diaries a similar work-party next Saturday 03 October.

NB - Apologies to those that put in a lot of effort this morning but had to depart before we'd decided to call it a day and get some practice in:( We'll definitely try and redress the balance next Saturday providing we can get those strimmers fired up early doors:woot:
