Gearing advice
 

hi can some one give me a starting point for a sintered 7.5 wth a 83 spur gear around oswestry its a tight astro/grass track. thanks in advance

I'd go with a 21,22 pinion fella :D but somebody from there may have better knowledge :thumbsup:

What was the FDR of the 7.5?

20 for a 6.5? Not sure as I'm about to do the same 7.5 >> 6.5

i am gonna start with a 20 unless i get corrected

I've been scratching my head last night and come up with 83 spur and 17 pinion as safe gearing for an LRP X11 6.5t. Am I right? it seems very low geared:confused:

for worksop, 6.5 nosram x11 with sintered rotor 23/83

would this be the same for an x12? also what sort of fdr should i be looking for 83 23 on standard pulley cat = 9.32 does this sound about right?
