How much do you use transmitter adjustments?

Just wondering how much you adjust your transmitter settings.

Last night I revisited steering expo for the first time in ages, knocked it down by 10% and transformed the car! Took a heap of twitchiness off the car that I couldn't get close to solving with the setup.

Is this something that a lot of you tweak with success? Or do you like to leave everything linear?

endpoints on the steering , brake travel , expo's and sometimes the ABS (not true ABS though) is all i use other stuff just bugs me and hides ineptness lol

On my buggies I just use end point adjustments (steering and brakes) in the main, to avoid unnecessarily stalling the steering servo and locking the rear end if I dab the brakes.

On my Mini though I find the tranny adjustments a big help as there is not a lot of setup adjustment on a stock M03 with friction dampers so I go minus on steering expo, and run the steering dual rate at varying amounts between 70-80% depending on surface to try to make the little bugger a bit less "pointy".

I use travel, balance and curve more than anything else (like ABS, lap timers etc).

steering end points, steering expo and model memory is all you really need

Bought a new new 2.4 Ko Radio and drove like an auld Women today as the steering was far too quick compared to the Futaba......
A Radio can cure or frustrate your driving enjoyment.....:-)

Funnily enough I made an identical change last weekend and found the KO not have enough "max" steering!! Didn't feel a speed difference though! Had a play since and think I have found some good settings to go with!

Generally for myself I just use end points and subtrim, for letting my nephew drive I use all sorts though, end points/exponential etc.

The ABS on the KO, does it "pump" the brakes?

End points and a little bit of expo on the steering here. Not really played with the other stuff much if im honest.

Trim, end point adjustment, throttle expo.

However, once set up per model and stored in memory then I typically leave it all perhaps with the exception of expo which I would adjust depending on need.

These days trim and end point only. Not really a fan of steering expo anyway, and everything else can be set on the esc so why bother? In fact, with programmable servos and a program box you can even set steering expo too, though thats going a bit far......

The thing I use the most is my EPA adjust for steering. I like to setup my car so it works nice when I use 90%, than I can adjust to less or more steering during the warm-up lap.

I'll also use the trottle trim to make the car coast more or less during corners, can make a huge difference on low grip tracks between entering a corner with understeer or oversteer.

Exponential settings I'll change rarely
