Front end too high off jumps

I'm pretty sure it's not my driving, but my front end goes straight up off jumps. Can someone give me an idea how to correct this.

ull find its down to throttle control take your finger of the throttle on jumps
adding some throttle in mid flight will make the car jump tail end down, adding brake will make it jump front end down, practise makes perfect

Like carl says, it could be your driving (no offence!) ? it depends on the jump also, but if you are going nose-high then coming off the throttle before you hit the jump might be an idea.
You could also be running too much rear wing? maybe trim it or use a smaller one perhaps?

Move batteries & any weight to forward position perhaps, but mostly blip throttle forward or reverse when in the air, the motor/wheels spinning has an effect and tends to pull the car up/down,:) more so in "across" mounted motors, but some effect in the Lazer, just try.

Just before you take off let off the thottle, it should help dampen the sudden flip back.

Too much Wing?

if you cut down the gurney [vertical bit at the back of the wing ;)] then it will fly flatter in the air. its all about experimenting with it really.

Try jumping with no wing at all first, then if it cures the problem cut the gurney down. What's the point in cutting it if it dosnt cure it.. waste of a wing; that's my theory anyway!

its all about throttle brake nose dives it throttle lifts front and a brushless just does this a lot more the lazer jumps pretty well with no throttle in the airlike the yanks say u got to learn how to fly;)

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess i just need to learn how to fly.

I agree it is worst with a brushless, if I back the throttle off to 1/4 - 1/2 just as you get air it jumps pretty good. I've found that with brushless (novak 4.5 in particular), that when you jump at full throttle the reason the car back flips is that the motor rpm goes from about 50,000 rpm underload to about 80,000 rpm in the air with no load (varies on gearing) this acts the same as hitting your throttle in mid air to bring the front up, but with full throttle over the jump its doing it as soon as your car leaves the jump. In theory if you can hit the jump at full throttle and back the throttle off just as your car leaves the ground to the same rpm as your car was doing underload then it should jump fairly flat, but this also depends on a few factors being that your car is centrally balanced, wing is set correctly and shock settings play a big part.

Hope this helps.

i can flip mine mid air with the throttle on pretty scary great news for spares suppliers:D also goin off a bit has anyone found the car pulling wheelies half waf down flat straights this also is good news for the shops :D

Try to hit the jump while still accelerating, if you have to let off a little before you hit the jump to achieve this then do so, then you should jump nose up, then just tap the brakes in mid air to bring her level ( practice in a skate park ). I've been getting 4-5 feet off a 8 inch high ramp and landing flat (indoors)
