Have you checked the set-up? Important if you have changed you radio gear and not run through it to match the two. Also, if your transmitter has end point adjustment, check it's not turned down on the brake.

nah the end points have been changed recently, and all settings i thought were right but it never seems to totally slam its breaks on

Mike, Which preset do you have it on? Mine is on the 21% brake. I will bring the instructions on Thursday if you want and we can compare stopping distances.

Are you over-geared?

just put a 5.5 in the car, with a 22 pinion, and a standard spur i think, so no i wouldnt say so

Well, not knowing what car it is etc, I wouldn't know on your gearing either. But if you gear down, (either a smaller pinion or a bigger spur), then your breaking effort generated from the motor will be greater. Maybe just try.

its an s44, with a 78 spur

Look in this thread,

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11555

Losixxx is using an 18 pinion with a 78 spur, I'm presuming with a 5.5, which suggests you may well be over geared.
