Driveshaft woes

Does anyone know what plastic driveshaft blades fit the D4 driveshaft pins/ends?

the ones off the Cyclone fit, they were about £8 per pair but have probably gone up. Have a look on the HB site.

Don;t need them with standard outdrives, but essential with the Edit ones as they wear super fast without them.

yeah, its the edit ones i'm trying to protect. I'll have a look at the cyclone ones, thanks.

Does anyone know other alternatives?

mark on my TC i use ones off of a top scythe - a wee bit of fettling with dremel and they fit a treat

3Racing do some, half the price of the HB ones, I seem to remember you get 4 in a pack as well, might be wrong on that though.

A friend of mine had some 3racing ones, and they just broke first time out. he then changed to the cyclone ones and hasn't had a problem since.

I used the cyclone ones and they were no problem at all. Well worth the money.

Nice one chaps, thanks.

I've ordered the HB ones. Any tips on fitting them or is it just a case of snapping them on?

jim76 12-09-2009 09:12 AM

yeah, just snap them on, one end first then push the other end on.

make sure you check them each run to make sure they aren't close to wearing through, because if they go part way through a run they wreck the Edit drivecups! should last a fair while though, i got about 8-10 meetings before they came close to failing
