Hub and axel question
 

With the upgrade DMS axel for the CVD is it a direct fit into the b4 kit hub or do you need a different spacer and crush tube?

Also looking at some of the Pic’s on oople Tom C is running Losi EA3 hubs- what parts are needed for this mod – and also are the Team no longer running the racer edge/ Rayspeed Hubs ? The winning X6 at Tally at EPR have who look like Kit b4 hubs

X-6 Axle is a direct fit, you do need a losi spacer to offset the axle which Trackside Spares keeps.

Tom is running XXXCR hubs as he runs 1/8th hinge pins with eclips to strengthen the rear wishbones.

Some of us run Rayspeed/Racers edge B4 hubs and some run stock B4 hubs.

It's all personal preference really, or whatever you've got in you box. Really makes very little, if any, difference to how the car handles.

Is there a noticable difference in handling/feel between a car running 3' toe in blocks and 1' toein hubs, and a car running 4' toe in blocks and 0' hubs?

While your giving good answers - The shock pick up points on the x6- am i right in thinking the a b4 inner hole is the same as a x6 outtest hole on the wishbone

and on the shock tower is the 4th inner hole is the same as a b4 inner ( 3) hole

inboard toe in makes a car feel a lot more stable, outboard makes the car feel fast / loose but also a little random on bumps.

inboard + outboard is kind of a half way house.

I think they are the closest holes if you get you measuring stick out, though it doesn't really crossover setup wise.

You will only ever use the inside 2 holes on the top and bottom pick ups if you want a well balanced UK setup.

Cool - ta for that- just looking at the x6 wishbones and the holes look a lot closer to the inner hingepin.

Correct, because you haven't got the pendulum hanging out the back anymore (ie B4) a narrower pick up works really well. If you ran the B4 with the lower pick up as narrow as we run on the X-6,the B4 rear suspension would colapse mid corner due to the massive weight transfer.
