Oops - broke little tab
 

Gave the buggy a good clean over today and when I went to remove the rear arms i somehow managed to break the little tab that supports the inner hinge pin. I can't see how it can effect the buggy in anyway and don't really want to get a new chassis. Will it be fine? I thought I read somehow about guys using shock shafts or something so they can use e-clips to support the hinge pins?

It will be fine, don't worry about it. The pin cannot escape even without the tab or e-clips.

Its just weaker without that inplace, You might find you start to tear up toe in blocks now if you catch somthing hard enough with the rear wheels.

Im sure there will be somway of making it stronger? Maybe attaching somthing made from metal, If youre good enough with a dremel im sure you could manufacture somthing to put inplace of where the old one used to be?

I have seen this repaired by using longer hingepins and drilling a hole in the chassis for them to pass through.

Use the rear toe-in blocks as a drill guide.
