I-Lap Timing Sytem - does anyone use it in the UK?
I'm interested to know if there are any clubs using the I-Lap auto lap counting system as it appears to be a far more cost effective system than the AMB system. At last a competitor with the same kind of spec with personal transponders but oh so much cheaper.
As a new club we could not afford an AMB system, but this system could be paid for through selling personal transponders to club members :) I'm very keen to hear what people think of it if they've used it. We use the RC-Timing software and the very helpful guys from I-Lap have tried their system with this software and it works fine so that makes this even more interesting... Thanks for any feedback  |

Thanks Chris.
It would seem that it's a good option for our club, will have more discussions with Russell before putting our ideas to the members... |
our club is using a system with optical transponders, works well and is very reliable, dont know make of it though, ianf would probably be able to tell you

Is there anyone else who runs the I-Lap system at their club?
