I-Lap Timing Sytem - does anyone use it in the UK?

I'm interested to know if there are any clubs using the I-Lap auto lap counting system as it appears to be a far more cost effective system than the AMB system. At last a competitor with the same kind of spec with personal transponders but oh so much cheaper.

As a new club we could not afford an AMB system, but this system could be paid for through selling personal transponders to club members :)

I'm very keen to hear what people think of it if they've used it. We use the RC-Timing software and the very helpful guys from I-Lap have tried their system with this software and it works fine so that makes this even more interesting...

Thanks for any feedback

Thanks Chris.

It would seem that it's a good option for our club, will have more discussions with Russell before putting our ideas to the members...

Is there anyone else who runs the I-Lap system at their club?
